I'm doing work with copper and brass sheet, no thicker than 1/8".

my limitations are space (apartment life, limited to a patio) and noise level (they put up with my pounding and my blow torch...I'm not sure about an electric saw (c;=.

As my asperations grow enticing me to construct larger and larger 'things', I'm growing increasingly tired of cutting everything by hand. So I am considering purchasing a good quality scroll saw. Does any one have experience with one of these? Are they practical for non-ferrious sheet metal? Should I wait and get a bandsaw? (this would be a long wait, considering the noise level). Should I consider something else?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
