when you braze the copper it will be annealed.

copper to copper is easy with sil-phos rod, no flux needed.

As to annealed , half hard , hard . that has to do with how much you plan on moving the metal before you braze it.

If you want a large smooth surface with only one curve in it. Go for the harder stuff. If you want to form the metal first, use the annealed, it usually costs the same and saves you one anneal.

When it gets work hardened anneal it again.
