I recently bought an old license plate for an old car. Problem is, my state requires two plates and I only got one. I got to thinking, maybe I could make another, using the one I have as a pattern.

Could a make a set of dies using something like bondo? WD 40 as a release agent? Put a sheet of 24 ga steel in between and press together.

Any ideas whether this would work? Is there something better than Bondo/WD40/24ga steel?
