I was told that this material looks like copper color wise, and casts well. I have never tried pure copper in any quantity, in small amounts it doesn't work at all well. I would suggest you check with your metal supplier and see what they might have. Another thing to think about is using copper for this going to make water that is toxic to the birds?? Don't know but it is a thought. John Dach
