I found the paper supplied by Model Master was adiquite but have gotten better results using transparency film. I am creating the master image on my 'puter useing Corel Draw and laser printing at 600 dpi with a little extra density in the print setup. I am able to get finer lines. Rather then making a rubber mold from the polymer, I am using another Swest product called Flubber. It requires only about 5 minuits to make a mold using this method. If your production schedule is as busy as mine right now, This can save a lot of time with better results on the master. Note, the transparency passes more light then the paper master, so you will have to cut down the exposure time. Make sure you have the printed side down on the polymer. You may have to revrese the image for lettering. Frank Hopkins Follow UpsBramblebush ForumsFAQ |
