Hi: I have not cast anything in aluminum yet(getting close though) but I am noticing that if I have pits in my factory cast aluminum parts that they are very hard to electroplate. Is there a method or additive that i can add to my melt to minimize this pitting? I would like to start out doing this the right way. I am using aluminum wheels to cast old car parts.
