I have a friend that cast some simpler, but still complex, engine blocks out of 356A. He was happy with the results.

I prefer 319, but I haven't done anything that thin or complex.

What ever you do for a project with this much investment work use virgin alloys!

I use old wheels from the tire dealers, they are mostly 356 but with scrap you are NEVER SURE!
