I would like to hear more about oil or other binding of investments to enable disintegration at some elevated temperature. Specifically I am interested in using fused silica and would like to ease removal of part from 2-pc mold (part has undercuts)after heating to no more than 1100-1400F. I'd like an investment based 2pc mold to hold dimensions up to this temp range but then disintegrate or at least significantly weaken at perhaps 1600-1700F -- Is this feasible??
