is it damp where you are casting? That often makes the resin cloudy. It will often cure if you put it in a warm, dry place like on top of a radiator for a couple of days once its demoulded or in a warm kiln if you've got one(we go up 10 degrees c for an hour till 50 deg and then 5 deg per hour till 80deg centigrade and then leave for 5 hours). I don't know what mylar is so can offer no help on that (i am british and trade names change as they move over the atlantic) perhaps you can let me know through the forum.
