These low temp melters are cast commercialy in Silicon rubber molds using a centrifugal method. See www.riogrande.com for some of the supplies and equipment for this.

There is also a book:

Cast Pewter Jewelry by Jay D. Kain isbn 0-87192-071-9

This was published in 1975. A search through biblofind might work, but the book probably will be very hard to find. This book describes conventional simple mold use. Offhand I would say plaster molds, which I have used for pewter.
