You probably want to heat your silicon bronze to at least 2100 degrees. If you really want the bronze to flow, get some phospher-copper welding rods and cut off about an inch and use it as a degasser.

I've never attempted to do what your trying to do but cast thin bronze often in sand. Your ceramic shell isn't as porous so you'd want to vent it some other way. Make sure you preheat the mold.
