A ceramic Kiln showed up in my local paper for sale. It is a Skutt for $450. I'm considering it for a burnout oven. I phoned the owner who tried to explain the temperature control is by selecting different "cones" that sounding like perishibles for every firing. She said max temp 2400 F and doublted the usefulness for being able to maintain a conttant temp over a period of time....say 900 F for 6-8 hrs.

Is anyone familiar with these things that can recommend is discount its use.

Thank in advance,

Rob Frink
