We have been given 50# of wax for our school foundry project. The wax is green, in pellets that look like M&Ms and it is quite hard and shiney, noy soft and sticky.

I am told it is "polyethylene filled" foundry wax.

Does anyone recognize this stuff, and can someone enlighten me about the effect of polyethylene filling on the properties of wax?
