You might also look at how you are gating the wax itself. Feeding the heavier section more. The distance of the pouring cup from the highest point of the casting should be several inches or more to create hydro-static pressure that might be needed for your type of casting?? Even with ceramic shell casting, I found that the more the cast was fed the better the integrity. Solid investment needs to vent, ven,t vent and also burned out well so as not leave any residue from the wax or other organic material that you are using as your pattern. Keep me posted. Bob |
