I read and considered each posting.

I sprang for a small bench top blast cabinet. So far I'm happy with it. It seems to do a nice job blending my "flaws" away. I also picked up a collection of small sanding drums, and disks, and a tiny pnuematic belt sander. Using these tools along with a couple carbide burrs in a die grinder, I can quickly clean up my sand castings. I blast the casting to "shake out" sand, then chase, then blast again to blend away the tool marks from chasing. It looks good to me.

I'm struggling with gates/runners and risers for this particular job at hand. I hope it will be a nice little production runner once I get all set up.
