I am casting a silicon bronze ceremonial wine goblet and would like to know if any special finish/coating must be used inside the goblet to prevent interaction with the wine. I'm sure bronze has been used before for wine vessels (or chalices)without ill effects, but I can't find any info. I plan to use Birchwood Casey (a very stable patina) with or without lacquer finish. Any clues?
