Interesting location,as I live in Joplin, Mo., only about 90 miles from your locale. I have recently built an art foundry, which you are welcome to take a look at if you will e-mail or call me at 417-781-3446 days.... My burnout furnace, I am very proud of, as I built it myself. I can hold my hand on the outer shell after it has operated at 1700 degrees for an hour. It is made of refractory cement and k-wool wrapped. I handle up to 50 pounds of bronze myself safely with a hand crane that I designed myself also.
