Repousse Poppy

Here's a picture of a plaque I just made for our village's Memorial Hall (village hall originally built in honour of the dead of WW1 &WW2)
This is to commemorate it's recent refurbishment, and cover an ugly airvent above the front door. Its about 22" diameter. Had to make a bigger pitch tray to do it..Repousse poppyRepousse poppyI've installed it, but had to fit it with a cover over it so they can have an unveiling ceremony (ulp!)

Will, I am sure they will

Will,

I am sure they will be very pleased with this vent cover. Reminds me of the Poppy used by the Roycrofter coppersmiths at East Aurora, NY nearly 100 years ago. Congratulations on the commission.
