I am trying to forge a rose. I have seen the finished product before, just not the process. I am a very skilled welder / fabricator but I am somewhat new to forging. Any advice or source would be much appreciated. ![]() Copper roses?

Hi Tom, There is a good
Hi Tom,
There is a good amount of roses images posted here on this site, using different metals, techniques and styles. A few months back (29 wks and 5 days ago, page 9) I posted " Flora" where I explained briefly my way of making roses. Any guide that gets you going will be more important for getting you going than for the exact technique.Soon you`ll find the way you like to skin the cat you know. Tom,hope that`s of some help, and please post your roses. I almost forgot to mention, not long ago I read an article explaining how some blacksmiths back in the old days, forged a rose from just a single piece of round stock, amazing! nelson.
