A company called siviter smith went into liquidation over a year ago and we used to get a4 aluminium plates with our designs etched from them. We have been struggling to find any company who does the sane service or if we can find a way to do it ourself. We need to make a number of masters as we cast in pewter and we are struggling to get a system for fine detail work any help?? |

Hello there, sorry I cannot be of any help. Just thought I'd share with you that I am also interested in this and did not even know the name that this process was 'photoetching'.
I am now looking for this in England on stainless steel. My idea is to have small stainless steel business cards. I am going to try some engraving but I don't think that will be very successful. Good Luck with your search.
