yesterday was totally exhausting... when I go up it was thundering, lightening and pouring rain...and guess what?
I had to move my work to the gallery in an open pickup truck! My friend Tom, who was trucking me called and said we'd wait till it slowed up...but I had to be in the city that night for a weapons (martial arts) seminar which I had already paid for...only one bus leaving that town at 2:55!
I decided to be focused...went to the studio...shrunk wrapped all the work...covered them in garbage bags...blanketed them and was good to go. Somehow by the time Tom came it was letting up!!!!No rain on my steel!
The set up at the show went well...and they also took all the work from the show at the realty company...(so I didn't have to bring it back home! The best (and remember this for yourselves) No one wanted to be in the window because of sun exposure to painting +photographs. So I got the whole window!!!! I'll take pictures on Saturday, as I only had about 10 minutes to get to the bus stop....got it. All in all , if you remain focused you can accomplish what you need to accomplish!!!New sculpture looks great! can wait to share it with you.(sorry this is so long, but I'm really excited)
