Hello,

I am just joining this community and look forward to interacting and networking with you all. Hopefully, some of you will know me and I look forward to reacquainting with you and to meeting new metalworkers. I am an 18 generation blacksmith and have been forging for over 17 years, taught internationally and have been published in numerous books and periodicals.

For almost 16 years, i forged large scale architectural work and now I have created a home accessories product line called Boone's Hooks. I am learning a lot about marketing, perseverance, and am finally realizing some success. I'd be glad to share some of my experiences if you are interested.

Hi There Smyth,
I checked out your site and liked what you said about recycling metal, this tickles my fancy and have taken it one step more to do rare found metal objects about 100 years old to have interest from me, unless they are of special objects I am collecting to form a subject matter. My special interest at present is children's toys and anything represent woman in the outback early mining areas of Western Australia.
