I am new on this forum but

I am new on this forum but am a retired fabricator/welder. I built a 3/4 inch burner and the propane bottle forge featured in "Gas burners for forges, furnaces & kilns" by Michael Porter. It works really well. Hot enough to forge weld steel. Also www.iforgeiron.com has a wealth of information and I think some plans for building a forge, both charcoal/coal/coke, and gas. I don't see a way to download a picture of my forge so this discription will have to do.

I built the propane cylinder

I built the propane cylinder forge featured in "Gas burners for forges, furnaces & kilns" by Michael Porter, and the 3/4 inch burner that is also featured in the book. It works very well and gets hot enough to forge weld steel. You can find lots of information on this subject on www.iforgeiron.com

By the way I am new here and this is my first post.
