Base is cold formed 7 guage stainless (3/16").
the pipe is 1/8" wall.
lots of stainless rod reinforcing underneath.

I hand slabbed an olive tree trunk ages ago and finally used up the last slab.
Each slab consistently curved end to end and across the width - something you can't do with a chainsaw. It was a great way to warm up every morning, saw for 20 minutes. Tooks weeks.
