Larry (my husband) and I were trying to remember who it is that makes hand tied brooms. There was a place that use to advertise in the Anvil Ring. You could send in your handle and they would put/make the broom on your handle... does anyone remember who or know what their website is... Thanks to whom ever can tell us.. Thanks Bill

Paula, Bill Epps, a blacksmith from Mesquite, TX, was married to a gal named Sharon who tied brooms for blacksmiths on the sort of basis you mentioned. I don't believe she was the one who ran the ads in the Ring, though. Bill and Sharon are no longer married, I don't think, but you might find Bill through Iforgeiron.com and perhaps he can put you in touch with Sharon. Failing that, I'd suggest posting your query on Anvilfire.com and Forgemagic.com. Someone on one of those sites will know the outfit you're thinking of, or put you intouch with someone who does what you want. » reply Hey Thanks!
