electropolishing | mig welding | wire sculpture | womans head This is the piece that i showed you as a work in progress last time i posted. Shes made from 2mm stainless steel wire, mig welded together and electropolished. the eyes are parts of a stainless sphere. She took about 6 weeks to finish. Her face is modelled from photos and anatomy books, the pose suggested itself from the expression on her face and the hair i made up. The plinth is a block of elm. Extremely impressive images

Very nice and love the flow of the wire from the face to the hair. Looks extremely delicate.
