I've got a question about removing ceramic shell from a casting. I am currently working on a piece, cast in silicon bronze, with a silica based ceramic mould/shell. I was wondering if anyone has had luck removing the shell with a vibration table or similar setup? I ask because the piece I am working on has some delicate textures I would like to preserve, and I have heard of vibration tables being used in this regard previously. Any thoughts?
