First of all I am really bummed that I missed the Shindig in Elk River. I hope there was a great turn out and I hope to be at the next one. I have learning a lot between this site and Metal Art and have finally decided to take my "hobby" to a new level.

what kind of artisan center would you use?

I have a question for all the artisans here:

Two women are thinking of opening an artists resource center in a rural area 30 miles from the largest metro area. This artisan center would not offer theatre/music. It would have a gallery, coffee shop and in the back would be areas for painters, drawing, writing, metal working, photography. There would also be artisan business resouces and workshops - for things like marketing, taxes, how to turn your art into a business.

Hi everyone,

Soooo very glad I found your site!

I am doing a wall sculpture for an entry to the "Brainstorms" exhibit put on by the Epilepsy Foundation. It is a combination of hammered sheetmetal, copper mesh and sheeting, and heat formed plexi. I have 2 questions:
