IT'S FINALLY OUT !!! Ready, Set, Weld! Beginner-friendly projects for the home and garden

My book is finally out!My book is finally out!

Thank you everyone for all your help!!!!!!!! I was able to say that in the acknowledgments page. I also direct everyone who buys the book to come on over to Artmetal.com to ask questions and chat with all of you!

Ask your local Barnes & Noble and Borders, etc. to carry it!!!!!!!!

The main thing about this book is that it is intended to show people, who are interested in starting to play and create with steel and a MIG welder, how to do it. It is NOT a technical how-to kind of book. In it I reduce all the different types of welds learned in school to TWO kinds.......long and short tack welds. I tell them NOT to attempt to weld a trailer hitch or anything like that without first taking a class......that this book is for things like picture frames and candle holders only. There are twenty four projects ranging from easy to advanced.

Happy playing everyone!

Hello

Hello Kimberly, I just purchased one of your wonderful pieces and don't know enough about it. It is 4' tall with 6 4" holes going down it. It has beautiful cut work on it and it is curvy and is braced with a stand which is welded to the back of it. The only tag on it was a partial tag with yiur name and that you were from N.C. Is there any thing you can tell me about this piece or if you even remember it. My scanner is not compatable with my computer so I can't send you a picture of it. Do you sign your work and if so where do I look for a signature? Please respond as I bought this for a gift for a friend who has a 20 acre garden in the N.C. mountains and I would like to have some real infpo to pass on to him. He would make a good client for you. Thanks,Carol C. Jarvis my e/address ccriderol@aol.com

Hi Carol,

Ready, Set, Get back to Welding!

Just bought your signed book at Powell's in Portland! Yeah!
It's getting me motivated again to finish the welding projects I have started instead of staying inside and sewing. Thanks for the fun! Noel
