Struggling silversmithing student moving to Sydney

Jewelry

Hi all,

I am a mature student looking for advice as to where is the best place to study my craft further in Sydney, Australia. I've done three years' study in art foundation and craft design and want to specialize in jewellery. I have just made my first ring. Is there anyone out there who can help? Many thanks.

Hi Alan

That really is a spectacular piece! How long have you been making and where did you source the opal? It is truly beautiful aswell, is it real? I can't wait to work with opals. How easy are they to work with?

I'm moving to Sydney in two weeks' time and I'm really interested in being able to access a workshop, where I can learn at my own pace and hope to have my own workshop at home one day. My partner and I need to find somewhere to live so it would be useful to know where the best creative 'spots' in the city are and think about finding somewhere within easy reach.

What do you teach?
