Pictures soon, this weekend we ripped up an old floor installed a new one. Fun! Nothing terribly intersting. The joists were probably 80 years old, I used a hand chisel to draw back the grain on one and it was beautiful.

Current Projects, Methods and Random Musing

Hrmm, I guess I need to really break down and get a digi-camera. Current project: I'm hand-carving a walking stick from Eastern Cedar, I'm doing inlay with Mother of Pearl and I'm gonna 'try' and get a cool copper ferrule for the tip. I have my eye on this piece of braided cable from my junk pile. If I can pull it off, it's gonna look nice.
