Fireplace Screen Material

I just got a job to build a custom fireplace screen and now I need to track down the mesh to build it...
Anyone know of a good source? I made one of these about ten years ago and the only thing I remember was I think the material was called #8 mesh but who knows...

Pocahontas Coal
