i need to build an adapter so i can use the 220 socket for our dryer to power the little red lincoln. it requires a 30 amp push just like the dryer and besides the shape of the plug i don't think there's any real difference. i was thinking that i could just pick up a replacement dryer cord (10 gauge/30 amp) and attach a socket that will fit the lincoln but i wanted to see if anyone had a better suggestion or if my idea has a flaw i'm not aware of.

Just wanted to say to Kimberli and Nic that it's like Kimberli said, I was just promoting my summer show, but I don't mind Nic showing his "piece" here. Could be good to know the terms in English... Sorry about replying so late - I realize it's been three months now! ;)

  just got back a few days ago from the honeymoon from hell! we're still crazy about each other, but i'll just say that the trip was terrible. we stayed at one of those all-inclusive resorts down in jamaica and the brochures and website all told big big lies about what we were supposed to be getting. i'm not going to come out and say exactly which company this was for the sake of staying out of legal trouble so let's call them "flip-flops" at "eight rivers".
