AN ARTIST'S SIGNATURE...UP-DATE!!!

Today I received a phone call from someone who had placed an order for a ring from me a couple of weeks ago. Monday night they finally picked it up from me. This ring was made for someone as a gift, and on the inside they wanted me to engrave the name of the person and the husband with the number of years they had been married.

I Tried...

Jewelry Competition

Hi,

Well, what can I say except that I tried. In September I entered the Saul Bell Awards, a competition for Jewelry Artists. We had to submit a rendering, or a picture of the piece that was to be made, or what was already made. I was up for the challenge, so I did a rendering of a necklace that I wanted to make...a piece that I had not done before and with the use skills that I don't have at the moment.

Just Breathe!

Hi,

My last post I spoke of the Fine Craft Show I was accepted to, and have been getting ready for that the past three, or four weeks now. About three weeks ago I received a call from a Gallery owner out in Vail, Colorado, who wants to display my jewelry in her Gallery. Very excited about it, I did some research on it and the area, and found that her Gallery is in one of the best locations, and the women is well known in the area. A HUGE relief!

Fine Craft Show

Hi,

Just wanted share that I've been accepted into The Fine Craft Show in Santa Clarita. The Show will be held in November on the 15th & 16th. It's very exciting! I received the call earlier this afternoon because they want to place my booth by a Celtic Harp Player, and a couple of other booths with similar themes. They thought my jewelry would fit well because of it's Medieval Influence.

SoCal. Jolt

Wow! That was a bit of a jolt we had over here in SoCal. I don't have T.V., but on the internet it was posted as a magnitude of 5.8. My house swayed a bit, and the floor rolled...one of my dogs was in the house with me and he was having a fit. I kept calling him to come to me, but he was too worked up to listen.
