Fluer De Lis in progress...

This is work in progress. I've saw pierced the three layers, and will solder them together creating a layered 3-D effect. The backplate will rest on the top of the wrist, and the outline piece of the Fluer De Lis will carry the Fluer De Lis on the top. The Chain Mail will be attached to the backplate. The Chain Mail is the basic European 4-in-1 (5) row weave. Last but not least, I will add a Blackened Antique Satin Finish, which will bring out the dimension of the design really well. I am excited to see the end result, and will keep you posted upon it's completion. I love the design Jamie and it very appealing to me since "La Fleur de Lys" is the emblem of the Quebec Flag.

Thanks for your comments! I've been working hard on the design today, and it's coming along nicely! It is a commissioned piece, and I think the customer will be very pleased with it.

It's neat to see it evolve from a drawing to pieces ready to be put together, and then into a nice piece of jewelry.
