Hello everyone!

I am new to the community and thought I would start by introducing myself.

I have been working with metal for about 10yrs now. My work ranges from sculpture to unique automated gates.
Although I would enjoy sharing some of my work with all of you, I am not quite certain what is permissible here in the forum (e.g. link to my gallery or photos)?
I am continually trying to learn new techniques for shaping, fusing or manipulating various metals and always enjoy discovering new patina techniques.

Recently, I came across what appears to be a very old (broken piece) of Japanese metal work possessing beautiful patina. It appears to have been a handle of some sort. I would like
to learn how to create a mold of this piece and cast multiple units. Perhaps someone here with experience in mold-making/casting would be willing to help
me in my most recent endeavor? It would also be very interesting if someone could help me identify the piece!
