I am redecorating my kitchen for my wife and I have a little time on my hands so I'm playing around with some different ideas with my brass knobs and hinges. They're cast brass and I'd like to try to patina them to look like pewter if at all possible. I'm a pen maker by trade and I've worked with a number of different patinas for silver and copper with my gilding, but I've never tackled brass. Even with the research I've done I've never found a way to make brass look like pewter. Is it possible?? Thanks!
