I checked out your website.

I see you are using cad for developing some of your shapes. What programs are you using?

Several of us here use Rhino and at least one is being dragged into SolidWorks by his day job.

Are you using plasma, laser, torch to cut patterns?

What classes do you teach?

My sweety taught art in Eden, NSW for 4 yrs.

software used

Hi Gene,
yep I just used autocad, Solid works is pretty big over here in the engineering industry which I am envolved in, so I would like to learn that when I can find the time. Rhino is widely used by artists.

I have used plasma to cut shapes but now prefer laser because of less preperation needed. I have not tried water cutting yet. I would like to find more info on the metart site regarding how other people have found the processes concerned.
Did you lass like Eden? When was she there? I am on the other side of the country.

I teach apprentice metal fabricators and welders, most of the students come to our workshop 1 day a week and then back to there company, they do this for 3 years. We aslo teach evening classes on welding processes to certification level. I work for www.swantafe.wa.edu.au you daughter would know about them.
