Repousse & Chasing vase copper repousse raising stakes demo A while back on another forum I was asked to show how I had made a small copper vase from a piece of tubing.
That's the culprit on the right. I decided to document making a similar piece and took a 6" straight section of 2" tube and made the middle item above from it. There is a six page demonstration of the process at http://www.mettleworks.com/studio/makevase1.html

Just somebody on the road, Rick. It's all an adventure. I still want to dress that second vase a bit. Gene Olson » reply vases

Gene, That is a great demo you have on making "pipe" vases. I was at a Tannehill AFC conference couple years ago and there was a guy (Roycroft aritsan) there making various thing including vases from copper pipe. I missed most of his demo because I was at another Tom Clark demo. A buddy sent me some pix that he had taken during the vase demo. It got me interested in making vases from pipe. During my search for info someone directed me to your demo. Great stuff! Anyway, below are some pix of the Tannehill demo. Walker
