Problems posting

I find that I am allowed to post new threads but for whatever reason, any attempt to reply, even to my own threads, Fails.

This happens with Firefox and IE.
If it is on my end maybe it has to do with Norton antivirus, or Norton Protection Center with auto protoect and worm protection turned on.
Worm protection has a configuration setting that allows for specific protocols to be turned on for gaming and other things. There are a number of JavaScript things that are excluded.
Is there a specific javascript that is involved in replying that is not involved in the initial posting?

The only thing that I can

The only thing that I can think of is that there is a spam check using Aksimet on replies but not on posts. Have you tried replying using a different computer?

Are you able to preview your comment before you post? Have you tried to simply post the comment and not replied? What kind of error are you getting?

old ded sled test

this is from the olde computer that wouldn't work at all for a bit, still goes into fits, and is totally unreliable so I don't do nuthin on it that I need fur sure. I'm considering my options for a replacement.
If this big job comes thru, we may try the mac bootcamp thingy. I keep wondering if Heath is having any trouble with his setup.
I stopped at two Mac shops over the past few days looking at the toys and found that neither of them had winders running very well. (of course you mac guys will say that is normal, but these were not up to winders normal) The saw was, "of course you realize, bootcamp is beta software"; not "gee i don't know how."
