How bou't that HEAT!

HeatHeat
Hi all, I took this shot this afternoon when I got home from work, it's a candlearbra I made about 5 years ago. The heat has melted the candles on it sitting outside in our BBQ area. We are in the southern end of the land down under currently in the middle of a heat wave. The temp. today has hit 41 deg. c. (@106 deg. f.) Thought I'd share.

I know what you mean Gene.

I know what you mean Gene. I've got 200kg of beeswax in my shed that I'm watching very nervously.

Cant wait for winter. Its hell in the foundry and at the forge this time of year.

Hi Gene: Let me tell you it

Hi Gene:
Let me tell you it is amazing to hear you`ve got 41 degrees Celsius this time of the year. Where are you at? Southern states? Your candelabra look surrealistic, but that`s what`s happening in many parts of the world: it seems surrealistic, that is, a somewhat bent, twisted reality, but it`s REAL ! Down here in the tropics, a few years back we even had hail. Incredible events are taking place. Here we basically have two seasons: a rainy , cooler season (read lass hot), and a dry hot one. Well, now we`re in the middle of that hot and dry summer, but for a few days we`ve had heavy rains and thunder that have cooled things down a bit. Never seen something like this happened before. Hey, this is just the start of what`s ahead if we don`t change our destructive habits...Nelson.
