Metal Books Exhibition books | exhibition Guidelines for Submission to Online Exhibit (see Metal Books Exhibition Gallery)
-Submitted books shall contain at least one obvious piece of metal and contain pages made of a three dimensional material. -Artists must be members of Artmetal.com in order to submit an entry. Please sign up for free membership via http://www.artmetal.com/user/register. We will not accept entries from guest members. -Artists will need to provide digital images of the book in order to upload images to the Artmetal Site. Many drugstores have scanners that can convert photographs to digital storage media (discs and memory sticks.) If there are any questions regarding this process, please email Elizabeth Meadows this contact form. -Images must be focused and with enough contrast so that the book details may be easily viewed. -By posting their entry on the Artmetal site, the artist/group grants permission for image reproduction for the purpose of current and future advertising of Artmetal events and exhibitions. Credit will be given to the creator of the artwork. -Requests for purchase of artwork will be directed to the Artists' contact information that each entrant will provide. Please do not provide prices for the online show. -There is no entry fee for (Can't) Judge a Book by its Cover, Metal Books: An Exhibition of the Book as Artifact. -Artist may submit an entry for the online show as well as the Minnesota Shindig Exhibit.
