A day in the life......

A windy weekend provided for an environmental installation that was once my work tent. White twisted metal had my mind involved in a curious tete-a-tete between rebuilding the structure and making it art. The resolve: I can do both. Only once has the course of entropy caused a stymied mental abyss. The word 'impetus' comes to mind because I have always felt that its expression was more of a whim or notion and not a stronger will or natural force. So, the impetus of winterizing my outdoor studio came as a will stronger than my own....Nature.

Todays focus:

cut as much steel as there is acetylene for up coming workshops and
shows. Winterize anvil, pneumatic vise, scrap pile and tables. (Bummer)

hi!

Hi there, Elli! I like the idea of "if life gives you scrap metal of your building/tent, make Art" kind of like the life and lemonade thing.

Winterizing the anvil, brings to mind interesting images. Do the lube and oil..but what kind of coolant? WinkGood to meet you here!

coolant and hydraulic fluid

Ah coolant, seems to have leaked out of the entire vehicle....my grandmother often said: "you have two hands and a brain, figure it out" I applied that bit of help and remembered that I had two legs and a destination. Who needs the gym?

A happy purchase of hydraulic fluid: I got a second hand barbers chair. They make the best foundations for working on sculpture. The novelty of having a barber's chair in the living room will have to wear off before I re-create it!

Favorite hobby: rambling :)

Nice to meet you too!
