I can't quite get the hang of this particular blog and picture. I was totally trying to do pg 55 of Lewton-Brain book. Well, at least I was able to get it apart and make something out of it! I like to never got it apart. I was using a butter knife but lost it before doing this particular piece.

I took one of his workshops

I took one of his workshops and also was having problems opening a fold. The trick is to get just enough of an opening to get both thumbs into and then jerk it open fast. Don't forget to have it well annealed.

Thanks Marilyn. I can start my thumb exercises :). Seriously, I'll give that a try and yes, I could probably anneal more.
