Copper

That is some of the finest copper work I have seeen so far.
I really like the lanterns, the shapes are soothing and you obviously love what you do, and it shows. If thats repousse, then wow! Well wow anyway!

These are great lanterns and

These are great lanterns and I see you have done well to explore the entire wildlife theme. I like how you have created a canvas of the lantern and then add a variety of images onto each of the four light panels. Are you painting onto the glass as well?

Thanks for showing these to us and sharing.

Copper lanterns

Yes we are painting behind them but its not glass but white plastic. all of these are outside and glass just does not last thats why we use plastic and yes they are 100% repousse by hand no stamping. all of the decorative metal work is 100% hand made.

The next time you visit a Bass pro shop look up and all around there is metal art everywhere from the fireplaces to the chandlers to of course the copper lanterns.

Great Work!

Are the wildlife images being done freehand or do you create and then use a form to shape the copper?
