I love this peice, if at first glance you can tell what it is then you have succeded. After all it is what it is - a copper rose. If you wanted something that looks exactly like a rose........ plant a bush :-)

The Rose

I really like your work. It looks like a rose to me. Roses are imperfect and a-symetrical anyways and I think you captured it brilliantly.
I am going to try my hand at something like this.

Nice Rose

Hey dirtking,
Yep surprising how easy it is to make a rose. When I first started making mine some 30 plus years ago all I used was a torch and pair of pliers. I just used an O/A torch and set the flame right to cut out the petals. Gave a different kind of organic rustic look. But no matter how you make them people always love them.
