Fairly Hasty Cufflinks

The morning of the one day I wore a tux I realized I didn't have cufflinks. These are what I came up with. They are scratch finished, oxidized, sterling silver with 14 kt. yellow accents. The back side simply has my logo stamp for decoration.

Thanks Fred. The motif was to some degree "borrowed" from a design book. I took a moment to try to find it again, but haven't located it.

Since the camera was still set up I took a photo of the back. I would make a similar mark when I started out by making my initials, D.C., with a chisel and center punch. Some years after I got into jewelry I needed a mark for something and this was an easy stamp to make -- three saw kerfs and two holes in a rectangular punch face.

Hi Dick, I really like the cuff links, it's nice to see a pair that aren't shiny gold or silver. Might have to give you a buzz and get a pair. Are those screws on the back? It sure looks like it, but they'd have to be really tiny.

Thanks Jake. The two things that look like screws are just wires that I clipped flush to the back. I don't recall why, but for some reason they were clipped and the ends left raw. The result of being hasty I guess.

Dick I really like your cuff links, kind of rugged look to them would go good with a flannel shirt too.

Now when you put on the jacket reach in the pocket and there probably are the cuff links and buttons.

These are even better then the spiral ones I just commented on. Are you selling these as part of your line of work? Do you feel comfortable posting a price on them?

Thanks QuiQui. No, they're not part of the regular offerings. For a pair like these I'd ask around $300. Maybe a bit less.

Am I able to come back and edit this price? :)
