I am a begginer in making knives. I've made a few overall poor knives, but i love making them and would love to get some tips on the art, so if any of you would like to take me under your wing and teach me something i would greatly appreciate it.

David, I think you will get a better response if you ask particular questions rather than just wait for someone to take you under their wing and teach you.

You might want to start by telling us about what you do know and then ask questions about the problems you had.

Yeah, that's really the gist of it. It's like saying "How do I go about getting from point A to point B?". Well, are you rich or poor, walking or riding, do you own a car/horse/train, etc., etc., etc. Tell you what: try making one, find out what went wrong, and ask some questions at that point. Sound good?
