Bending channel

I need some advice on forming channel.  Hawke Industries claims that thier tube bender can form channel for gate arches and I'm wondering if it's possible.  I'm looking to purchace a tool that does this and with what I consider as a full search on this matter I only seem to have found this one tool.  I've formed channel in the past on an old power roll former at my last iron works job and it was a pain because the channels would collapse.  So I would roll so far and with a couple tools I made would work the legs and web as straight as I could and then repeat the process.  Has anyone had any experience with this Hawke Tube Bender.

Linseed and paint

If I put a 50/50 mix of mineral spirits/linseed oil on an iron piece I'm working on.

Is it possible to paint it?

No powder coat due to the cost involved.

An apology to the community!

I've been thinking about this for awhile.  Some time back I recieved what I consider a personal attack on a piece of art work that I submitted in which I verbally retaliated against the party in

Safety First

My wife is making a birdbath from a terracotta dish with a stained glass rose at the bottom (inside) of the dish. She's having trouble finding a non-toxic grout sealer and glue for the glass. She's worried that any of the materials out there that she's seen would harm the little feathered friends.

Finally sayin' hey

I've been a member for a little over sixteen weeks now, and I'm finally sayin' hey. I'm also submitting a pic of a coat rack I made for my Father-in-law.
