Beethoven Firecolour Sketch demo video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uThM9s6Mccg
In this video I anneal a small scrap of copper to a dark grey , and use ink to lay in a few initial marks , for the sake of this demo . Usually I would go much larger / more detailed , and use solely brush and water ; there is an example of this technique too , near the end of the video .

Several times I stop to allow it to cool , sometimes I abrade slightly an area to slow it's bloom , and I routinely brush on water to resist blooming other areas . You can always erase and let dry (cool) , for another layer of oxygen , just like oil painting!

thanks for sharing the process in video format! it's always a pleasure to see someones work in action...

now a few years ago i seen something on tv about a woman who used torches on stainless to create amazingly detailed outdoor landscapes, does anyone know who im talking about? i'd love to see more of this type of work, especially with stainless.
